2014 Honda Civic Si Comes Packed with Enhancements

If you’ve been wondering what the guys from Honda have been up to, we’re pleased to tell you that the 2014 Civic Si promises more power, an upgraded interior, numerous new features as well as coupe styling enhancements.
We’re talking about a vehicle with a more sportier feel that rides on a larger (+1 inch) performance-styled 18-inch alloy wheels. Moreover, this particular Civic has a more aggressive exterior design all thanks to the hood, front fenders and headlights as well as the side mirrors and new taillight. This isn’t all as the aforementioned car also features a mean Si-exclusive grille and lower front-bumper garnish, a large wing spoiler plus a rear air diffuser.

As far as the interior is concerned, the Honda Civic Si comes with a sporty feel, the designing team going for a black and red color scheme as well as a high-tech, race-inspired carbon fiber-style designed audio panel. Of course, the vehicle incorporates numerous tech additions such as Honda's new 7-inch Display Audio touchscreen, which uses a smartphone-like interface. This allows users to tap, swipe and pinch heir way through audio, phonebook, media, vehicle information and available navigation features. Furthermore, the Si model also gets the convenient Smart Entry with Push Button start that enhancing driver visibility.

Besides all of this, the company seemed to have made the car mode powerful, a retuned exhaust system boosting the engine to 205 horsepower1 and 174 lb-ft of torque2. Also, for superior sport handling, the car’s suspension has been revised with rate springs, new dampers as well as a stiffer rear stabilizer bar.

We must say, it sounds pretty good and according to the company, the 2014 Civic Si Coupe will go on sale on March 12 and the Si Sedan will follow on March 26.
