The same internal document that revealed precious information about a 1.6-liter turbo coming Buick’s way and a twin-turbo V6 that’s likely going into the Cadillac ATS also offers some info about the 2014 model year Camaro.
The document says the 7-liter LS7 B8 will be available under the bonnet of the Camaro. Chevy fans will surely remember the LS7 comes from under the hood of the Corvette Z06, where it pushes 505 naturally aspirated horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque.

The engine has been in production since 2006 and is built by hand at the General Motors Performance Build Center in Wixom, Michigan. It features a forged steel crankshoft, titanium connecting rods, cast aluminum flat-top pistons and hydroformed exhaust headers with unique "quad flow" collector flanges.

Since the LS7 is a fourth-gen small block V8, it’s likely to be updated with better injection technology.
