2013 Mazda CX-5 Pricing Announced

The Mazda CX-5 is set to hit the US market this month and the automotive producer has now announced the pricing for the crossover, with the vehicle starting at $20,695 (the pricing doesn’t include the $795 destination charge).

The vehicle is powered by Mazda’s new 2.0-liter Skyactiv-G gasoline four-cylinder engine, which delivers 155 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 150 lb-ft of torque at 4,000 rpm, which can be mated to a six-speed automatic gearbox or to a six-speed manual tranny. The first is optional, being offered for $1,400, while all-wheel drive comes at $1,250.

Customers can choose between three trim levels: Sport, Touring and Grand Touring, with the list of standard features across the range including six airbags, daytime running lights, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), a Traction Control System (TCS), Hill Launch Assist, a collapsible steering column and fold-away brake pedal assembly, a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), three-point safety belts for all seating positions and others.
