Australian automaker Holden announced pricing information for its new Malibu mid-size sedan. Basically a Holden-badged prefacelift Chevrolet Malibu, the new vehicle goes on sale with prices starting from AU$28,490.
Available in only two trim levels, CD and CDX, the Holden Malibu can be purchased either with a 2.4-liter petrol engine good for 165 HP or a 2.0-liter turbodiesel unit rated at 157 HP. Depending on trim version and engine, the price can go as high as AU$35,990.
While customers that opt for the entry-level CD will receive a Malibu with features such as 17-inch alloy wheels, Bluetooth, cruise control, rear-view parking camera and auto headlamps, those that buy the CDX will get 18-inch alloy wheels, leather appointed heated front seats, leather steering wheel, dual zone climate control, chrome exterior highlights and LED rear lamps.
