Ford has a very interesting metaphor: it considers ST models to be like dolphins while RS cars are sharks. And so have to look at the brand new Fiesta ST not as a savage animal, but as one that wants to enjoy life.
Yet the hot supermini is by no means a slow car that only has a body kit to boats with. It packs a 1.6-liter EcoBoost turbo engine with 180 horsepower. Thanks to a six-speed manual gearbox and a stiffer setup, the fastest Fiesta ever will get to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 7 seconds flat, while top speed is 136 mph (219 Kmph).

Right now, we’re still waiting to find out what the base price on this pocket rocket is, but rumor has it this should be €1,000 less than a Renault Clio RS. We don’t believe the little Fiesta has what it takes to set the pace on the track, but at least it comes with a sporty interior with orange on the seats and a well styled dash.

The Fiesta ST also comes with a 15-mm lower suspension setup and 17-inch wheels as standard. The body kit brings a chin spoiler, buff arches and a diffuser tail with two twin exhaust.
