2011 Mitsubishi Outlander UK Pricing Revealed

The British division of Mitsubishi announced today pricing for the 2011 Outlander model, as well as details of the all-new 2.2 Di-D diesel engine on all manual transmissions. Also, for the first time in the UK, Mitsubishi also announced the introduction of a 2WD diesel Outlander variant.

The 2011 model year range will therefore be available with a choice of two engines: a 2.2 Di-D M/T Mitsubishi unit on the GX3 M/T variant and a 2.2 Di-D SST PSA unit. The 2WD variant will be available with GX3 M/T trim only.

"The all-new Outlander engine features outstanding driving performances well as excellent environmental credentials, such as more power, lower CO2 levels, better mpg and lower VED tax bands," a company statement reads.

The new 2.2 Di-D M/T Mitsubishi engine comes with a 6-speed manual gearbox, and is available in 2 or 4 wheel drive options. The new power unit comes with a 14 percent increase in power from 154 bhp to 175 bhp on the manual transmissions. It also adds a 12 percent reduction in CO2 emissions.

Customers will also be able to choose from a range of six exterior colors, of which one solid (Polar White), two metallic (Cool Silver and Orient Red) and three pearlescent (Stone Grey, Tanzanite Blue and Amethyst Black).

The 2011 Mitsubishi Outlander UK pricing starts at GBP21,549 and reaches 29,199 GBP for the range topping GX4 2.2 DI-D 4WD SST model. The 3-year Mitsubishi Service Plan (MSP) will be available at just GBP315.

“The 11MY Outlander derivatives detailed above restore a full range to Outlander, mirroring the range which proved so popular with customers in 2009 and early 2010. Now with the introduction of the new 2WD diesel variant, the broader range offers more customer choice in the segment,” the statement from Mitsubishi concludes.
