The last of the three Honda concepts announced today that we’re willing to talk about is the AC-X, which is the one that looks like it’s the closest to entering production. The car is powered by Honda’s new plug-in hybrid platform, which is supposed to combine electric driving in the city with the benefits of a range-extender.
The AC-X Concept will make its official debut at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show. Honda is calling it a “next-generation plug-in hybrid vehicle which offers a more comfortable and enjoyable time in the vehicle during all driving situations, from urban to long-distance driving”

The interior cocoons you in a world of modern fabrics and materials as you drive along with you...joysticks. It also bathes you in plenty of blue light that matches the long strips of florescent on the body of the car.
