The 2011 Chrysler Town & Country will be available in three trim levels: Touring, Touring L and Limited, all powered by the V6 Pentastar with 283 hp. The Detroit automaker has improved every aspect of the new minivan, from the redesigned suspension to the interior, that has more comfortable Stow "n Go seats and an integrated super center console.
“With exquisite styling, a beautifully crafted interior, smart, cutting-edge entertainment features and clever seating and storage options, the new Chrysler Town & Country delivers on the Chrysler promise to provide every owner a vehicle that satisfies their dreams,” stated the press release announcing the car.
All 2011 Town & Countrys will come with seven-passenger seating, with the front seats being buckets and the third row having a split bench configuration that folds flat into the floor for better storage. Removed from the 2011 model due to lack of demand is the alternative Swivel ’n Go seating. This had been a Town & Country exclusive in the minivan market, and allowed the second-row buckets to be turned 180 degrees to face third-row passengers. A removable table could be set up between them as a dining or game surface.
