2009 Renault Twingo Range Detailed

The 2009 Renault Twingo, which is already available through the authorized dealership network in France, is already ruling the country's passenger car sales, with approximately 10,000 units delivered in April, 2009. This raises the total figures to 135,000 sold Twingos since 2007 when Renault rolled out the model.

The 2009 range comes with several additions over its predecessors, including the introduction of a new so-called "Trend" equipment level, while all the other versions, Expression, Dynamique and Initiale, were "facelifted" with equipment upgrades with no increase in price.

Prices have been revised as well, with the cheapest model now sold for 7,990 euro (Twingo Access 1.2 60) while the cheapest goes as high as 17,400 euro (Twingo Initiale dCi 85).

As for the engines, the list of engines available for the Dynamique and Initiale versions have been reconsidered and now also include the TCe 100 and the dCi 85.

Getting back to the Trend equipment level, it joins the range between Expression and Dynamique. Obviously, it features all the equipment included in the Authentique and Expression levels - electric front windows, power steering, heigh-adjustable steering wheel, dark interior trim, rear headrests, front passenger vanity mirror, new Dark Maco upholstery, height-adjustable driver seat and electric body-colored defrosting exterior mirrors - but also adds manual climate control, Tropic Grey interior trim with Smoked Grey dashboard cowling and new Light Maco upholstery.

This specific flavor is compatible with a number of options, including automatic climate control (380 euros), ESP with rev-counter (400 euros), 15-inch alloy wheels (500 euros), metallic paint (400 euros), cruise control with speed limited (250 euros) or electric panoramic opening sunroof (700 euros).
