A little over 1,450 Shelby GT350 examples got to see the daylight for model year 1968, and needless to say, finding one that has never been touched and still comes with everything original isn’t necessarily the easiest thing to do these days.
But someone on eBay claims they do have an all-original 1968 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350, and best of all, it can be yours if you’re willing to pay a rather hefty price. First and foremost, what you’re looking at is a car that has been sitting for over 35 years because of a small dent it received after the owner hit a wall.

The previous owner bought it in 1983 and parked it in 1985 when he was pulling into the car wash a little too fast and slid into the wall and bumped the passenger front fender. He said he was so frustrated he just left and parked it and never drove it again, but kept the tags and insurance up to date for a few several years later in case he wanted to drive it,” the seller of the car explains.

Originally posted in November, the eBay listing is live again, and the Mustang hasn’t received any changes in the meantime.

I could have it running by the end of the day but I don't want to spoil the fun for a true collector who would want to be the one who hears it crank up for the first time or wash it and see the beautiful paint, that's why I have not touched it. It’s still got the 1985 dust all over it and it's killing me to not detail this car,” the current owner continues.

The Mustang comes with several old-school cool parts, including the original owner’s 1984 student college ID, if you want “to put a face to the car,” as the seller explains, but also with old gas receipts.

The 302 V8 engine developing 250 horsepower is still there paired with a 3-speed automatic transmission, and everything is believed to run properly.

At first glance, there’s no rust anywhere on the car, and the small dent it suffered back in 1985 should be rather easy to fix. All parts are there, except for the gas tank, which has been pulled by the previous owner.

With 82,603 miles (132,936 km) on the clock, the Mustang GT350 could end up becoming rather pricey given it already received 80 bids on eBay. The top one at the time of writing is $77,600, but the reserve is yet to be met.
