The fifth-generation Belvedere witnessed another transformation of the vehicle, with Plymouth making its full-size model smaller and more compact.
Many people believed the Belvedere and the other full-size Plymouths subject to this makeover lost their original customer appeal, especially as the interest in large vehicles, such as the Impala and the Bel Air, was on the rise.

The new-generation Belvedere was available with six-cylinder and V8 engines. The base unit was a 225 straight-six, while the V8 lineup included a 383 and a 413. A 426 joined the lineup in 1964, with the Hemi eventually helping the Belvedere shine in the Daytona race.

A 1963 Plymouth Belvedere that's been sitting for over a decade is now fighting for survival, though convincing someone to give it a second chance is going to be challenging, to say the least. eBay seller culpejonat has provided only a few details about the car, so aside from the non-running engine, we get no information about this Belvedere.

The owner says they drove the Belvedere in the storage unit 15 years ago, with the engine still running at that point. The long time of sitting took its toll on the engine, as the powerplant is no longer running. It's unclear if it at least turns over by hand, but I wouldn't expect 15 years of sitting to turn this engine into a pile of useless metal.

The Belvedere sells in project car condition, so it also comes with the typical rust for a classic car parked for so long. The trunk exhibits no rust, but potential buyers should put it on a lift and inspect the floors. The cabin looks all alright, but the seats will require several repairs. However, everything still seems in place, and this is a welcome bonus for someone who plans to bring this Belvedere back to the road.

However, the listing lacks several key specifics. For example, it's impossible to tell based entirely on the provided images if everything is still original. While the Belvedere looks complete, the owner should reveal if something big is missing, as the car's only option is a complete restoration. The engine would also use a few more details, especially if the buyer is interested in saving the car and creating a daily driver.

A Plymouth Belvedere isn't exactly the most desirable classic car, but the good news is the owner listed it on eBay without a reserve. This means that whoever sends the highest bid will win the car. The top offer at the time of writing is $2,000, with three days remaining until the digital fight ends. The vehicle is sitting in Bellingham, Washington, and you'll need a trailer to take it home should you decide to purchase it.
