It's common knowledge, but most people would rather not admit it – Australia has an incredible car culture. American car influencers, the Hoonigan crew, and That Racing Channel have featured some of the gnarliest tuned rippers on the continent for the last four weeks.
The Hoonigan team flew their This Vs. That series to the legendary Cootamundra Airport track, challenging Aussie racers against each other. Frankly speaking, the show would have been a lot nicer if American-tuned muscle met Aussie boost.

But we won't be talking about the Hoonigan crew and their hilarious escapades at the Cootamundra Airport track in this piece. Instead, we'll let you in on Javier from That Racing Channel on YouTube epic ride along in a 1,600 hp (1,622 ps) R32 Nissan Skyline GT-R by B2R Motorsport in Sydney, Australia.

B2R Motorsport builds some of the gnarliest GT-Rs in Australia. Their cars are a sensation at the annual GT-R festival held at the Cootamundra Airport. Javier admits the owners of this successful tunning enterprise have helped him before with his own R32 Skyline GT-R build in the United States.

One badass build under their shed is an R32 Nissan Skyline GT-R, a.k.a 'UREADY.' It makes a whooping 1,600 hp (1,622 ps) with nitrous injection.

According to Navi Cheema of B2R Motorsport, 'UREADY' is a complete ground-up build. The team ripped everything out to bare metal and started the build afresh. Engine-wise, it's got an RB30 wide rod journal 3.2-liter stroker kit, a Ross dry sump, and a trigger kit (entire Ross Performance catalog). For the wheel setup, it's sitting on 17s and Mickey Thompson tires.

For cooling, the rig runs a Plazmaman intercooler and inlet manifold and a Precision 8685 Turbo for boost. To harness all that power, it runs on a Samsonas gearbox that sends all that power to the rear wheels.

"All right, bro, you are making me itch. You are making me want to go home and turn mine up. This is another level, bro," Javier of That Racing Channel said to Cheema after several pulls down the road. "This thing annihilates the tires," he added.

Three pulls in, and Javier confessed there needs to be an R32 setup like UREADY in the United States. Only two cars could rival B2R Motorsport's Nissan Skyline GT-R build – and they are nowhere near its performance.

Javier could be right. The U.S. is only beginning to enjoy the early JDM-spec GT-R action thanks to the MotoRex scandal and the 25-year limit that expired.

The 25-year rule was a push by Mercedes and BMW lobbying Congress back in the 1980s to prevent gray market sales from affecting new car sales.

Javier also checked out a DC2 Honda Integra Coupe making shy of 1,000 hp (1,014 ps) and Cheema's personal V-Spec Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R making 1,000 hp (1,014 ps).

Curious how these classics rip down the road? We recommend catching that Aussie action and more in the video below.
