Our tuning category is mostly dedicated to blue-blooded exotics and luxury rides fitted with all sorts of body kits and new wheels. Some of them have a well-deserved power boost, but in essence, we don't come across any extreme rides that often.
Case in point, meet one bad-to-the-bone Audi RS 3 Sedan from the previous generation, which is a true supercar killer. Mind you, it didn't race any full-blown exotics (while the camera was rolling, anyway), but it was caught doing an insane acceleration run, tapping out at 303 kph or 188 mph.

Do you know how the Audi RS 3 (and not only) is famously known for rocking the four-ring brand's turbocharged inline-six? Well, not this copy, or better said not anymore, as the 2.5-liter unit was replaced by a different one – and it looks like a VR6 to us.

The engine in question has received a huge amount of work to the point where it pumps out a staggering 1,400 horsepower. That is much more than the Bugatti Veyron, and it is roughly 100 horsepower shy of the Chiron's output. You can bet everything on the fact that it has an all-wheel drive system to better handle all that power, too.

Now, vehicles with that much grunt available via the fun pedal are usually left stock on the outside. But this RS 3 Sedan wasn't, as it rocks a widebody kit with fender attachments, a pair of fat side skirts, redesigned front and rear bumpers, and a vented hood. We can also see a roll cage meant to keep the driver safe in the event of a crash and a set of concave alloys wrapped in ultra-sticky tires for fast takeoffs.

Finished in matte black and looking ready to give supercars a run for their money, this hypersedan was filmed at the Race 1000 half-mile event in Germany, with the video being uploaded on YouTube a few days ago. At over four and a half minutes long, it is certainly worth a watch, regardless if you are into Audis or not, as this is a build that deserves to enjoy its 15 minutes of fame.

Before wrapping it up, we will remind you that the previous-generation Audi RS 3 Sedan enjoys 394 horsepower (400 ps/294 kW) from its 2.5-liter five-banger. The power unit pumps out 354 pound-feet (480 Nm) of torque, allowing the model to accelerate to sixty-two mph (100 kph) in a little over four seconds before topping out at 155 mph (250 kph).

The latest generation RS 3 has 401 hp (407 ps/299 kW) and 369 lb-ft (500 Nm) on tap, takes 3.6 seconds to hit 60 mph (97 kph), and starts at $61,700 for the 2024 model year.
