The good folks over at the racing-focused ImportRace channel on YouTube are not at their usual venue - Island Dragway in Great Meadows, New Jersey, and instead, they are hunting for more great events in other places – like Pocono Raceway.
This videographer has been quite prolific this year, as they swing back and forth between the home base at Island Dragway and some of the greatest events out there like the Street Car Takedown series, TX2K's marvelous 2024 edition, and now also the Pocono Raceway 65 Roll Race prepared by RaceMotive.

Also known as 'The Tricky Triangle,' Pocono Raceway is a superspeedway nestled in the Pocono Mountains in Long Pond, Pennsylvania, and is the host of a big annual moment of glory in July when it hosts three NASCAR National Series races and an ARCA Menards Series event. Alas, that doesn't mean it just winds down and lies dormant for the rest of the time.

More precisely, among other things, RaceMotive hosts an entire season's worth of roll racing events at Pocono Raceway, mostly in the MPH Exhibition Open Run format. However, the 1/3-mile (1,760 feet) roll-racing series kicked off with a big, two-day inaugural event in an SxS Shootout format on May 4 and 5, 2024, which was captured on 'tape' by the videographer from ImportRace.

Now, slowly but steadily, he's rolling out (pun intended) content focused on the big heroes present at the track. Not long ago, they featured a Blue Oval knight, an 870-hp, tuned S550 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 that roll-raced against everything and everyone – including a modded Hellcat, a tuned BMW M3, a fellow Ford Mustang GT, as well as a clear underdog, the Toyota GR Corolla hot hatchback.

Now there's another hero in the making – a 600-hp McLaren 570S, according to the description, which is supposedly a "British supercar force to be reckoned with on the roll race strip." Well, the first high-speed skirmish was against a dark and menacing 600-hp BMW M4 Coupe, and while the two of them seemed to cross the finish line side-by-side, the electronic scoreboard showed the McLaren was victorious (157 mph versus 148 mph).

Next up came an even tougher opponent, supposedly. The modded 1,050-horsepower Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat tried its luck one more time, but the green 570S rascal didn't accept defeat. Instead, the Mopar fans might once again want to look away because absolute destruction swiftly ensued, and it wasn't their favorite who delivered the stomping. So, the McLaren got another flawless 158 mph versus 128 mph victory and moved on.

The final opponents were a tuned BMW 135i, but the Bavarian 'David' couldn't overthrow the high-speed British 'Goliath' from its 157 mph pedestal with a slower 140 mph performance. Also, a one-eyed Toyota GR Supra tried to intervene. Still, somehow, it performed a 'celebratory donut' before the race even started and ended up hitting the protection barrier following the impromptu drift exhibition…
