Segment: All-road
Production started year: 2024
In 2023, at the EICMA show in Milan, the Italian motorcycle manufacturer MV Agusta introduced the new LXP model, officially called Orioli. It is named After Edi Orioli, an Italian racer with four Dakar wins in his pocket in 1988, 1990, 1994, and 1996.
The maker calls the bike the first "luxury all-terrain bike boasting exceptional performance, equipment and design." It is represented by green, red, and white colors spread around its components.
It can be ridden in three configurations: Urban, Touring, Off-Road, and Custom All-Terrain. In front of the rider's eyes is a car-inspired instrument panel with a 7-inch TFT screen, allowing the connection of a device through Bluetooth or Wi-Fi.
The bike will be offered in only 500 units, and each of them will be delivered to its owner alongside a special box containing a Termignoni titanium exhaust muffler, a bike cover, and a certificate of authenticity. In addition, the exhaust muffler should cut the overall weight of the motorcycle by four kg (8.8 lbs).
As for the visual department, the MV Agusta LXP is packed with features, such as a half fairing, a dual headlight system, a small windscreen, hand guards, an engine cover, a two-piece dual seat with passenger grab handles, an up-swept exhaust silencer, and wire-spoke wheels shod in off-road tires.
As for power, the 2024 MV Agusta LXP is equipped with a 931cc four-stroke three-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that delivers 124 hp with a peak force at 10,000 rpm and 102 Nm (75 lb-ft) torque at 7,000 rpm.
