MOTO GUZZI Norge 1200 GT 8V (2013-2014) Specs, Performance & Photos

In 2016, the Italian motorcycle manufacturer launched the Moto Guzzi Norge 1200 GT 8V, a touring machine that retained the same features as previous models without any significant modifications whatsoever.

The Moto Guzzi Norge 1200 GT 8V was a motorcycle that debuted in 2012 as a more sophisticated version of the base model with several improvements that enhanced its overall capabilities.

It retained the same visual aspect, with standard features, such as a dual headlight system, a medium-sized windscreen, a one-piece dual seat with passenger grab handles, side-mounted panniers (also available with a top case), and three-spoke aluminum wheels.

The motorcycle was made around a double-cradle steel frame with a 45 mm preload-adjustable telescopic fork on the front and a single-sided swingarm with an adjustable shock on the rear, providing excellent suspension performance and handling.

The braking performance was achieved by two 320 mm stainless steel floating discs on the front coupled to four-piston calipers and a 282 mm fixed disc on the rear tied to a dual-piston caliper, offering excellent stopping power.

In the power department, the 2016 Moto Guzzi Norge 1200 GT 8V had installed a 1,151cc four-stroke air-cooled V-twin engine underneath its fuel tank, boasting 102 hp at 7,000 rpm and 104 Nm (77 lb-ft) torque at 5,500 rpm.
