MOTO GUZZI Norge 1200 GT 8V (2011-2012) Specs, Performance & Photos

In 2014, the Italian motorcycle manufacturer launched the Moto Guzzi Norge 1200 GT 8V, a touring motorcycle that debuted in 2012. It was a more sophisticated version of the base model fitted with modern technology.

The 2014 model was in its third year of production and came with the same package as the previous model, featuring the same technical, visual, and performance specifications without any modifications, except for color alteration.

The bike had standard features in the visual department, such as a dual headlight system, a medium-sized windscreen, a one-piece dual seat with passenger grab handles, side-mounted panniers (also available with a top case), and three-spoke aluminum wheels.

The bike packed a double-cradle steel frame with a 45 mm preload-adjustable telescopic fork on the front and a single-sided swingarm with an adjustable shock on the rear, providing excellent suspension performance and handling.

Braking-wise, the motorcycle packed two 320 mm stainless steel floating discs on the front coupled to four-piston calipers and a 282 mm fixed disc on the rear tied to a dual-piston caliper, offering excellent stopping power.

As for the power figures, the 2014 Moto Guzzi Norge 1200 GT 8V had its heartbeat set by a 1,151cc four-stroke air-cooled V-twin engine fed by a fuel injection system, delivering an output power of 102 hp at 7,000 rpm and 104 Nm (77 lb-ft) torque at 5,500 rpm.
