The Moto Guzzi Norge 1200 was a touring machine manufactured by Moto Guzzi in 2006 and continued production until 2016, when it was replaced by the Moto Guzzi V100 Mandello. Its name was also used on the 1920s Moto Guzzi GT Norge.

In 2010, the bike received a significant revision, gaining a new fairing, a new exhaust system covered in aluminum with ground clearance increased, and a new engine with four valves per cylinder, more power and torque, and approved for EURO3 pollution standards.

In 2013, the Italian motorcycle manufacturer launched the Moto Guzzi 1200 GT 8V, a touring motorcycle that debuted in 2012 as a more sophisticated version of the base model, equipped with new components.

Like the 2012 model, the 2013 Norge 1200 GT 8V had new components, such as the suspension system revised for more comfort and corner stability, an electrically adjustable windscreen, a new engine with more power and torque, a fairing with improved wind protection and noise reduction, an easy-to-read instrument panel, an anti-slip seat, a factory-fitted center stand, and footpegs with vibration damping.

In the performance department, the 2013 Moto Guzzi Norge 1200 GT 8V had its heartbeat set by a 1,151cc four-stroke air-cooled V-twin engine with 102 hp on board with maximum strength at 7,000 rpm and 104 Nm (77 lb-ft) torque at 5,500 rpm.
