KTM 950 Super Enduro R (2006-2008) Specs, Performance & Photos

The KTM 950 Super Enduro R, also known as the 950SE or SE, was a dual-sport motorcycle manufactured by KTM from 2006 to 2008 that was perceived at its launch as a departure from any existing dual-sport, street bike, or enduro models while packing characteristics from all three.

The bike was marketed by KTM as a race-ready enduro motorcycle with minimalist design principles. It was fitted with twin carburetors instead of fuel injection and lacked an Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), a fuel gauge, a tachometer, and traction control.

In 2006, the Austrian motorcycle manufacturer launched the KTM 950 Super Enduro R, which delivered massive power complemented by easy and lightweight handling capabilities.

It was manufactured around a powder-coated tubular chromoly space frame with a 48 mm WP inverted fork on the front, offering 250 mm of travel, and a WP shock absorber on the rear with 255 mm wheel travel.

The bike's 21-inch wheel was fitted with two 300 mm discs tied to dual-piston calipers, and the rear 18-inch wheel was handled by a 240 mm disc with a single-piston caliper, providing excellent stopping power.

As for the power figures, the 2006 KTM 950 Super Enduro R had installed a 942cc four-stroke V-twin liquid-cooled engine at its core, delivering 98 hp at 8,500 rpm and 95 Nm (70 lb-ft) torque at 7,000 rpm.
