The KTM 950 Super Enduro R, also known as the 950SE or SE, was a dual-sport motorcycle manufactured by KTM from 2006 to 2008 that was perceived at its launch as a departure from any existing dual-sport, street bike, or enduro models while packing characteristics from all three.

The bike was marketed by KTM as a race-ready enduro motorcycle with minimalist design principles. It was fitted with twin carburetors instead of fuel injection and lacked an Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), a fuel gauge, a tachometer, and traction control.

In 2006, the Austrian motorcycle manufacturer launched the KTM 950 Super Enduro R, which delivered massive power complemented by easy and lightweight handling capabilities.

It was manufactured around a powder-coated tubular chromoly space frame with a 48 mm WP inverted fork on the front, offering 250 mm of travel, and a WP shock absorber on the rear with 255 mm wheel travel.

The bike's 21-inch wheel was fitted with two 300 mm discs tied to dual-piston calipers, and the rear 18-inch wheel was handled by a 240 mm disc with a single-piston caliper, providing excellent stopping power.

As for the power figures, the 2006 KTM 950 Super Enduro R had installed a 942cc four-stroke V-twin liquid-cooled engine at its core, delivering 98 hp at 8,500 rpm and 95 Nm (70 lb-ft) torque at 7,000 rpm.

Until 2006, Supermotards used single-cylinder engines, and the thought of using a 920cc V-twin unit didn't make sense. But after several minutes of the bike's official presentation, the KTM 950 Super Moto, the top model of KTM's Super Moto family, quickly convinced the crowd that there was a future for this class of machine.

In 2006, the Austrian motorcycle maker released the KTM 950 Super Moto, which didn't necessarily look good but could make any rider feel good on the saddle.

The bike had factory-installed standard features, like a half fairing with a single headlight unit, a high-mounted front fender, a wide handlebar, a one-piece dual seat with pillion grab rails, an under-seat-mounted exhaust system, and lightweight five-spoke wheels.

In the performance department, the 2006 KTM 950 Super Moto was powered by a 942cc four-stroke V-twin liquid-cooled engine installed into a powder-coated tubular chromium-molybdenum space frame. As for the power figures, the engine delivered 98 hp at 8,500 rpm and 95 Nm (70 lb-ft) torque at 6,500 rpm.

Suspension-wise, the bike was fitted with an adjustable 48 mm inverted WP fork on the front with 200 mm of travel and a fully adjustable WP shock absorber on the rear with 210 mm of travel.

In the braking department, the bike's 17-inch wheels were fitted with two 305 mm discs engaged by four-piston calipers on the front and a 240 mm disc with a single-piston caliper on the rear.

In 2006, the Austrian motorcycle manufacturer launched the KTM 950 Adventure S, a sporty version of the standard KTM Adventure with several differences, including more extended suspension travel and a higher seat.

The KTM 950 Adventure was a dual-sports machine built by KTM between 2003 and 2006. The bike was also known as the KTM LC8 Adventure and was produced until 2006 when it was replaced by the KTM 990 Adventure.

Besides its differences, the Adventure S model was similar to the standard model, packing standard features, such as wire-spoke wheels, a high-mounted exhaust system, a small luggage rack, a one-piece dual seat with passenger grab rails, a half fairing with a single headlight unit, and a small windscreen.

The powder-coated chromium-molybdenum tubular space frame was coupled to a 48 mm WP inverted telescopic fork on the front with 265 mm of travel and a WP spring-preload shock absorber on the rear with 260 mm of travel, acting as suspension.

As for the braking power, the bike packed two 300 mm discs on the front wheel coupled to dual-piston calipers and a 240 mm disc on the rear, engaged by a two-piston caliper, offering optimum stopping power.

In the performance department, the 2006 KTM 950 Adventure S had its heartbeat set by a 942cc four-stroke V-twin liquid-cooled engine that delivered 98 hp with a peak force at 8,000 rpm and 95 Nm (70 lb-ft torque at 6,500 rpm.
