With only 9 of these extravagant cars ever to be made, spotting the Lamborghini Veneno Roadster is like randomly bumping into the president at the supermarket. This brand new example is the first one we've seen painted in white and was recently delivered to Lamborghini Hong Kong, where it awaits it's wealthy client.
Unlike the Huracan, there's no vagueness or practicality built into this car. It's about as brutish and powerful as the current Lamborghini technology would allow. We know that willing customers have to be able to part with €3.3 million or $4.2 million for one and that all of them were spoken for before we even started to drool over the press photos.

Like its coupe cousin, the Veneno Roadster is powered by a 750 horsepower version of the engine in the Aventador. Its built around a carbon-fiber reinforced polymer monocoque, which helps keep the weight down to just 1,490 kilograms (3,278 pounds). With 1 hp for every two kilograms, the Veneno is able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds.

The coupe was presented in 2013 at the Geneva Motor Show, when they announced they would build three units. Last year, 9 more were added to the roster in this convertible form.

Someone in Hong Kong is probably loving himself right now because with only 9 of these, the chances of ever seeing another are slim. The local dealership says this, Aventador LP 700-4 and Huracán LP610-4 will be showcased at the Lamborghini Pop Up display at KCP Auto Plaza from 16th to 29th January. So maybe you can still check it out.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
