The production version of the brand new Subaru Levorg estate will go on sale in January, with customer deliveries to commence in May, the Japanese automaker announced earlier this week.
Introduced as a concept car at the Tokyo Motor Show last month, the production-ready Levorg will be fully unveiled on New Year's Day. Two engines will be offered under the bonnet - 1 new 1.6-liter boxer unit with 168 HP and a 2.0-liter powerplant rated at 296 HP. The estate will also feature Subaru’s next-generation EyeSight driver assist system and a new steering support control.
The 1.6 version will become available from JPY2,667,000, while the 2.0 variant will retail from JPY3,564,000, which means about $25,400/€18,500 and $33,900/€24,700 respectively at current exchange rates.
There's no word on when the Levorg will be offered beyond the Japanese market.
