Introduced last year, the current Audi RS6 Avant is anything but old. However, this didn’t stop the German automaker to start working on the facelifted model that will make its way into the market for the 2015 model year.
Just the regular A6 sedan and estate, the beefier RS6 model won’t sport that many differences on the outside. We’re talking about a redesigned front lower bumper and a reshaped rear bumper with integrated exhaust pipes.
Audi is probably readying other minor styling changes as well, but the RS6 Avant that was recently caught by our photographers has been thoroughly camouflaged and have nothing else to reveal.
Although exterior modifications will be limited, the facelift A6 range is likely to get more updates inside, but actual details have yet to surface.
Moving over to engines, the Germans are planning to keep the current range for the entire A6 lineup, which means the RS6 Avant will be powered by the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8. However, we wouldn’t be surprised if Audi decided to add more horses to the 560 hp output that’s on offer right now.
