There's no rest for the German engineer working for Audi, as right after launching a full roster of new cars in Geneva they're back at work developing a facelift for every A6 and RS6 model available.
Launched in 2011, the A6 is still a relatively new car without too many flaws. Its headlights also make it one of the most easily recognized models Audi makes. For the facelift, most of the design created by Jurgen Loffler in 2008 is being kept. However, crisper panel lines are being introduced to make it look more modern.

Not only the A6 sedan and estate were spotted by our spy photographers, but also the more hardcore RS6 model, the 560 hp freak of nature they launched just last year.

Headlights on all prototypes have been camouflaged, but they appear to be the standard xenons you already get with the A6. However, the lower bumper does show a more major change as does the back end, where exhaust pipes are going to be integrated into the bumper.

The engine range is likely to carry over, Audi having just announced the A6 will be available with a new 190 HP 2.0-liter 4-cylinder TDI in the frugal Ultra model. The aging 2.8 FSI will be replaced by a new 2.0 TFSI and there will be slight increased in power and efficiency across the 3.0 TDI range of models.

The A6 shares its interior, platform, and powertrains with the A7 five-door notchback coupe, which is also going to receive a facelift soon.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
