Pictures of a yellow Hummer H1 with 'black accents' have surfaced on the Internet today. As you can see, the car’s original paintjob was a striking yellow which the owner decided to cover with matte-black vinyl wrap. Little did he know that the company doing the wrapping were going to seriously cut corners while doing up his car.
It appears that the parts which were more difficult to wrap (hinges, rivet lines and other fiddly details) were simply spray-painted over. When the owner decided to take the vinyl wrap off his car, the places that had not been wrapped were now black and stood out in a very negative fashion. Calling this an amateurish job would be an understatement.
We can only hope that the owner will be more inspired in choosing the company to re-wrap his car - properly this time.
