We like Jaguar. They offer 80% of the Aston Martin thrills for 50% the money, and by our standards that's a bargain. Yesterday we showed you an Aston Martin bottle cooler worth as much as a Mercedes car. We weren't able to track down its Jaguar equivalent, but we found something… better.
These are driving shoes designed by Oliver Sweeney together with Jaguar to commemorate the launch of the F-Type Coupe. Supposedly, they are just as light, powerful and agile as the brand new sportscar from the British brand, but we'll save our verdict until we can wear a pair.

For now, know that range include regular moccasins and a couple of normal sneaker-type shoes you'd actually wear. Oliver Sweeney has, however, also created a few designs in what we believe to be artificial leather that imitates carbon fiber.

This isn't the first time we've seen something like this, but having the official stamp of Jaguar and the F-Type makes them really special. We'll leave it up to you to decide if they're worth the €235 to €275 ($325 to $379) that Oliver Sweeney are demanding. However, know that the range of models comes in a variety of different colors and models:

- Moccasin driving shoe
- Moccasin construction
- Sandwich leather upper
- Low profile rubber sole
- Oliver Sweeney x Jaguar lozenge print insock
- Contrast stitching detail
- Contrasting underlay detail on punching
- Laser etched branding

We'll let the designers explain how they cross-pollinated their ideas and came up with their design

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
