We live in a world where buying automobiles are only part of the experience prestigious companies provide. They are often accompanied by offers of matching luggage sets, shoes or watches, but our next find is more unique than that. We kid you not, this is a champagne cooler that's been sanctioned by Aston Martin themselves to celebrate the One-77, their limited edition ultra GT coupe.
It's made from carbon fiber, just like some panels on the car and plated with 24 carat gold, either regular or white. The inner carbon fiber layer has two roles, reducing the cooler's weight and forming a layer between the bottle and the outside stirling silver, which would conduct the cold away very rapidly.

Only 10 of these things are supposed to exist, built by a company called Grant Macdonald, who even make matching glasses, tea cups or picnic baskets for the One-77.

“The inspiration for the collection has been derived from the elegance, craftsmanship and engineering excellence that has been built into every Aston Martin car since 1913. This simple yet enduring design ethos influences every piece in the ‘Silver by Aston Martin’ collection. Dynamic proportions, razor fine lines and sumptuous curves – all a signature of the marque – inspires graceful forms in sterling silver, gold, carbon-fibre and other fine materials throughout the range. The philosophy of this collection is to offer clients the commitment to a premium quality that is synonymous with Aston Martin," the craftsmen say about their impressively opulent creations.

Now, before we tell you the price, keep in mind that there are only 77 One-77s in the world, and each have been built using the finest of material. They cost about £1 million each and only the wealthiest footballer people in the world can afford them, so by that measure this £25,200 is rather cheap. But, that's only for the silver version. If you want gold on top, that will be £29,000.

But come on, do you really need to pay the price of a Mercedes A-Class just to keep the champagne cold? Or does it come with a lifetime supply of gold-plated ice that we haven't read about.
