With the McLaren 650S waiting around the Geneva corner, everybody wants to know how much the Brits will charge us for this P1-flavored 12C. Ladies and gentlemen drivers, the wait is now over, thanks to an allegedly leaked pricing guide.
The list, which showed up on 650Sforum, tells us that the starting price for the McLaren 650S sits at EUR232,500, including 19.6 percent VAT. Converted in USD, that would place the supercar at $318,000, but note that the aforementioned VAT is larger than the taxes you have to pay in America. Thus, expect the 650S’ US pricing to be smaller than that.
Diving deeper into the list, we’ll start with the all-important vehicle lift system, which is offered for EUR4,300 ($5,900). There’s also an option we’re struggling to understand: you can replace the standard carbon ceramic brakes with steel units, of course free of charge.
As for the cabin, you can choose between a leather and an Alcantara finish at no cost. Moving into the carbon fiber area, the most expensive goodies is a pair of Racing Seats, which are offered at EUR6,080 ($8,340.
