The 1s and 0s of Audi launching the 313 hp and 659 Nm (479 lb-ft) 3.0-liter BiTDI V6 diesel engines are still in our cache, but this didn’t stop German tuner B&B Automobiltechnik from announcing a three-stage power upgrade program for the unit.
The powerplant is taken to 340 hp and 690 Nm (509 lb-ft) for Stage 1, with this coming thanks to a 0.15 boost pressure increase and an ECU remap and being offered for EUR1,498. As for Stage Two, this can be your for EUR1,698 and brings the game to 365 hp and 720 Nm (531 lb-ft).
Stage Three, which retails for EUR4,950, brings injector upgrades, as well as air intake mods (for the ducts and intercoolr) and allows the driver to play with 390 hp and 760 Nm (560 lb-ft).
B&B Automobiltechnik hasn’t released the performance specs (the upgrades were announced for the A7 Sportback), but we’ll remind you that the stock engine manages to push the A6 sedan past the 100 km/h (62 mph) mark in 5.1 seconds. Yes, this means that you’ll be playing in the Porsche 911’s acceleration league.
