Many carmakers have tried reinventing the sportscar over the past decade or so, which has resulted in ever more powerful and heavier cars. But Alfa Romeo dared to think way outside the box.
Their 4C only has 240 horsepower, less than most hot hatchback, but it also weights 875 kilograms thanks to carbon fiber construction and lots of aluminum.

In the wake of their sportscar's production debut, the Italians have released this video of it being driven hard on the Balocco track. This track was built by Alfa Romeo as a test ground for their cars. Today it is used by various auto companies in Italy. It is available in many different combinations as is common with most test tracks.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
