The picture above depicts the three stunning machines, which from the left to the right are know as the TS010, TS030 Hybrid and TS020.

Toyota’s TS010 was built for the Sportscar World Championship, All Japan Sports Prototype Championship and the 24 Hours of Le Mans, debuting in 1991 at the 430 km of Autopolis. During its period, the prototype won three races and posted four fast times on the tracks it raced.

The TS020 debuted in 1998 at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Powered by a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V8, the prototype managed to post three lap records and gain two class wins.

Finally, the Toyota TS030 Hybrid is the upgraded version of the one that raced last year at Le Mans and failed due to an accident, while its twin had to pull-out from the race due to engine problems. This year though, the automaker improved the racecar’s brakes, suspension and aerodynamics and aided by the hybrid drivetrain, they hope to dethrone Audi in the endurance race.
