Initially scheduled to make its public debut at the Frankfurt Auto Show in September, the 2014 MINI Cooper will reportedly be unveiled two months later, at the Los Angeles Auto Show in California.
According to Motoring File, the delay comes as BMW wants to focus on its new i3 model, which will be revealed online on July 29, and the BMWi sub-brand at Frankfurt. Also, our source claims the first official photos of the 2014 MINI Cooper will be launched sometime in October.
The 2014 MINI Cooper will become available with a turbo four-cylinder engine, but a new 1.5-liter three-cylinder unit will be introduced at a later date.
Until the first official pictures become available, you might as well enjoy the spyshots we published two weeks ago.
