While the Trans Am went out of production about 11 years ago, with the Detroit company being shut down in 2010, Pontiac enthusiasts are still alive and kicking thanks to Trans Am Depot.
In case you haven't heard about TAD, they're very busy in designing and building 2010-2013 "Pontiacs" based on the Chevy Camaro platform. And their latest offering, the 2013 Hurst Edition, takes the modern musclecar to a whole new level.
Remember the "Smokey and the Bandit" film and its 1977 Pontiac Trans Am? If you're still fantasizing about one, the 2013 Hurst Edition is the closest thing you can get. As a modern car, of course.
Their latest vehicle comes with all the goodies, like the classic Firebird hood decal, the cool T-Tops, and several Hurst features. Like every great musclecar, the Trans Am Hurst Edition also needed a heck of commercial… and it sure got one.
Trust us, any description as to what you're going to see is useless. Just enjoy it and make sure you don't bruise yourselves too bad while running to get your hands on a 2013 Trans Am…
