Just in case you missed it, we’ll reming you Honda has refreshed the Civic after only 18 months on the market. The changes were also applied to the Civic Hybrid, and we thing the result is actually quite the looked.
At the front, the Hybrid also gets that accord grille that shaped lithe the letter ‘U’, but instead of a honeycomb grille it has a gloss black plastic bar. This is in contrast with the 2012 Civic Hybrid, which had VW-like horizontal (also like on the Insight).
The lower bumper has also been restyled and now features LED daytime running lights arranged at the corners and a big chrome bar that also looks like it came from the Accord. Round the back, we have restyled taillights with the usual hybrid look.
Power continues to come from a 1.5-liter four-cylidner engine combined with Honda IMA system. For 2013, the Civic Hybrid is rated at 44 mpg, which is quite a decent figure. The new look Civic Hybrid will be on-sale at dealerships starting in January 23rd, 2013, with prices starting at $24,360.
