Trying to further emphasize the highlights of their first mass production EV, the i3, the BMW people in the US held a meeting in Washington D.C. to introduce the new car to various government officials.
The event was attended by influencers, press and other stakeholders and featured a panel of keynote speakers and experts. The whole debate was concerning "Shaping the Future of Sustainable Mobility".
Amongst the people that took to the microphone were Deputy Assistant to the President for Energy and Climate Change, Heather Zichal, Senator Maria Cantwell (D-WA), Mitchell Moss, Director, Rudin Center for Transportation and Henry Hart Rice, Professor of Urban Policy at NYU.
All these efforts come days before the North America debut of the i3, a car that is supposed to revolutionize the way people get around in crowded and polluted cities like NY and LA.
