You Will Soon Have Baby Yoda Streaming Right to Your Tesla

Modern-day cars are technological wonders. They are no longer used for transportation only, but also for entertainment, pastime, and communications. And we mostly have one company to thank for all this.
Infotainment systems have been around for some time, but none of the carmakers using them had the vision or audacity to take them to the next level like Tesla did. And partly because of this, Elon Musk’s company is now the default name on everybody’s mind when wondering “what will they come up with next?”

Earlier in September, Tesla rolled out update 10.0 for its cars. As usual, it was a revolution, both in terms of functionality, and in terms of the new ways to entertain the paying customers.

As of that time, Tesla owners across the U.S. started getting access to their favorite movie streaming platform, Netflix. They were also granted access to YouTube videos and Spotify music, something European owners had had for years.

But in this increasingly dynamic streaming world, things move pretty fast and what once was cutting edge quickly becomes insufficient.

Since the time Tesla owners started binging movies in their cars a lot more streaming services launched. Including Disney’s +, the place where the new sun of the Star Wars universe, Baby Yoda, was born. As season 1 of the Mandalorian came to an end late last week - after only eight episodes - will have to wait for another year or so before seeing what Baby Yoda is up to in season 2.

By the time Disney rolls out the new episodes, it's likely the service will be available in Tesla cars as well. Responding to a question posted on Twitter by TeslaOwnersofMA about the availability of Disney+, Elon Musk said “coming soon.”

Despite some claiming to already have access to the Disney service in their Tesla by various means, an official rollout of the service would mean it would be available in the car’s theater mode.
