A classic among classics, Frank Sinatra had a long and illustrious career. He even donated $4 million in the 1980 presidential campaign to Ronald Reagan, who won the seat to the detriment of Jimmy Carter. While Reagan was in office, Sinatra also happened to be chauffered in a Woody.
Enter the 1985 Chrysler LeBaron with wood paneling on the sides, a curious choice for the Sulton of Swoon considering that Sinatra previously owned a 1976 Jaguar XJ-S. As opposed to the longroof your dad might’ve owned back in the day, Sinatra got the absolute best specification available.

More to the point, you’re looking at a Town & Country Turbo, packing a 2.2-liter four-cylinder with a Garrett T03 turbocharger running 7.2 PSI of boost. Bearing in mind this is Chrysler’s first-ever turbo and the 1980s, 142 horsepower and 160 pound-feet sound alright for daily driving.

The station wagon-bodied LeBaron, which spent most of its time with Sinatra in and around Las Vegas, will cross the block courtesy of H&H Auctions. Keeping a low profile is the reason Sinatra chose a domestic-built family hauler instead of something plusher, keeping prying eyes away.

There’s no estimate on the vehicle, but chances are someone will pay a lot of money for a piece of Sinatra's legacy. A rough guesstimate would be more than $100,000 plus the transaction service fee.

“Supplied with the vehicle are copies of the certificate of title with Sinatra's signature,” and the documents also states the musician and actor’s name in full. According to H&H Auctions, the LeBaron is also understood to be “the last vehicle Sinatra owned.”

Throughout his life, Frank was a Chrysler guy through and through. When he got married to Nancy, the pair went on their honeymoon in a 1939 Chrysler sedan. The Voice also owned a Ford Thunderbird in the 1950s, the nameplate that defined the personal luxury car segment like nothing else.

After a spell of ill health during his final years, Sinatra died at a hospital in Los Angeles on May 14th, 1998 of a heart attack. The following night, casinos in Las Vegas stopped spinning for a minute in honor of Ol’ Blue Eyes.
