Yeti Spotter Draw Winner Announced

The British division of Skoda has revealed the winner of its latest marketing campaign, called the Yeti Spotting. As we said in a previous report, all the Yeti spotters on the campaign’s website, as well as on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube, waited to see who will drive away with a Skoda Yeti.

The lucky winner was a Walsall resident, Marie Hitchen, who recently collected her new car from Skoda Auto Sales in Cannock.

“I’m over the moon. This brand new Skoda has come at a much needed time – I love it! As I’m a foster carer, I’ll need that space in the back to ferry the children about but my first big trip is to go to North Wales to visit my daughter,”
she said when she went to pick up her new car.

Mrs. Hitchen’s previous car is 15 years old, so she was extremely excited with winning the Yeti. She successfully tracked down the Yeti at Birmingham’s Bullring Shopping Centre and was one of thousands of entrants who took part in the yetispotting.com nationwide competition.

“This is great news. We’re really happy that the Yeti has been won by Mrs. Hitchen, who does such a valuable job with children. The Yeti is an ideal car for anyone with a family so I’m sure that she will get a lot of pleasure driving it,”
said Skoda Head of Marketing, Mary Newcombe.

The Yeti is the latest addition to the Skoda model range, with pricing starting at £13,725 for the entry-level model and goes up to £17,575 for the top-of-the-range level.
