Skoda Yeti Pricing Announced

The Czech abominable snowman on wheels, a.k.a Skoda Yeti, will soon become available in four trim levels, five engine choices and both two- or four-wheel drive versions, all of which have been detailed and priced by the Czech manufacturer. The Yeti will hit the streets on September 17, with prices starting from £13,750 ($22,532).

The entry-level Yeti is the E, which starts at £13,750 and is available in front-wheel drive, with either a 1.2 TSI unit or the 2.0 TDI CR 110 bhp diesel engine. Yeti E features air conditioning, remote central locking, driver and passenger front side and curtain airbags, sound system with single CD player, 16-inch wheels and front electric windows.

The Yeti S starts at £14,250 ($23,351) and comes with either front- or four-wheel drive. It offers four engine choices, starting with the 1.2 TSI 105 bhp, available with DSG or manual transmission. It adds to the features found on the E 16-inch alloy wheels, front fog lights, rear electric windows and driver’s knee airbag.

The Yeti SE starts at £15,650 ($25,645) and is also available in either front- or four-wheel drive. The engine choices range from the 1.2 TSI 105 bhp to the 2.0 TDI CR 140 bhp and brings in addition to the equipment found on the S dual–zone air conditioning, cruise control, integrated touchscreen, 6-CD player, acoustic rear parking sensors and 17-inch alloy wheels.

The top of the range Yeti Elegance starts at £17,600 ($28,841) and is available with a choice of five engines, including the 2.0 TDI CR 170 bhp 4×4. It features off-road button with the 4×4 transmission, ESP, heated front seat, bi-xenon headlights with cornering function, full leather upholstery and rain sensor windscreen wipers.
