The full English breakfast is an old tradition, dating back to the time of the Victorians. It's why your mothers tell you that this is the most important meal of the day, though nobody does it quite like they did in the good ol' days: sausages, bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes, eggs and cheese, maybe topped by pudding and a cup of tea.
Rolls-Royce is also an English tradition, one which has ironically been celebrated by the Goodwood Breakfast Club.

Sitting at the pinnacle of the ultra-luxury car market, it's only fitting that the Brits put their best foot forward with three different, but equally stunning modern cars, the Wraith, the Ghost and the Phantom.

Gathered at the famous Goodwood estate, the Spirit of Ecstasy trio commemorated 110 years since Charles Rolls and Henry Royce met up to create the company we know as Rolls-Royce.

"Three very special contemporary Rolls-Royce motor cars – Wraith, Phantom Coupé and Ghost – were displayed at the ‘Supercar Sunday’ Breakfast Club meeting at the Goodwood Motor Circuit, a short distance from the company’s Head Office and Manufacturing Plant. The cars were hosted by a team of Rolls-Royce employees. The event was the largest in the history of the Breakfast Club, with 1000 cars on display inside the circuit and more than 14,000 visitors," the Goodwood organizers say.

Celebrations were also held at The Midland Hotel in Manchester, the exact same place where Rolls and Royce met up to talk business on May 4th, 1904. This even was hosted by the Rolls-Royce Enthusiasts’ Club, who brought together 30 stunning heritage models that form an excellent cross-section of the company's lineup that spans over century.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
