The BMW X6 was introduced just late last year and here we are today, looking at a heavily modified version of it, courtesy of AC Schnitzer. That’s right, the German tuner decided to unlock the Sport Activity Coupe’s potential and introduce it for the first time at Geneva.
As you can see, the car has a different look to it. The front bumper was completely changed along with a vented bonnet that could’ve looked better, to be honest.
On the sides, you’ll notice the AC Schnitzer logos towards the rear wheels along with the new carbon fiber mirror coves and the lightweight wheels with a specific ACS design.
Round the back, the M Sport package was complimented by a new spoiler that now houses four tailpipes with traditional ACS design. They can be had in either stainless steel or carbon fiber finishes.
Step inside and you’ll notice that only small details have changed such as the pedal covers, the rest being kept stock, as BMW intended it to be. The car on display at Geneva was an xDrive30d model at the core.
That means it was fitted with a 3-liter inline 6-cylinder engine as standard, making 258 HP and 560 Nm (413 lb-ft) of torque. With the ACS tricks on it though, it reaches up to 309 HP and 670 Nm (494 lb-ft) of torque, a serious improvement if you ask us.
There’s also extended warranty included in the mix if you’re interested in getting such a makeover, one that is compliant with BMW’s own terms of acceptance.
