The BMW X4 has been on the market for quite some time now but the tuners apparently weren’t too glad about it. Apart from Manhart, no major German tuner created a special kit for the new Sport Activity Coupe. Of course, a couple of small changes could be done but not a major overhaul.
Today, AC Schnitzer unveiled its program for the smallest SAC BMW has to offer and it’s looking fresh. Of course, the usual ACS parts were used this time as well but they seem to work better on this car than any other.

We still don’t like the Type IV chromed wheels but I guess there’s a market for anything out there. However, other aerodynamic parts sure change the face of the X4.

They include a front spoiler, a new rear diffuser, carbon fiber mirror covers and a new rear skirt protection foil that doesn't really change anything aerodynamically, but is included by ACS in this ‘department’.

Other than the wheels and the aerodynamic bits, the guys have also been working on technical details. The xDrive20i can be had with 245 HP, the same as the xDrive28i stock version. On the other hand, the 28i model can go up to 294 HP according to AC Schnitzer. The top of the range petrol, the xDrive35i, can be taken up to 360 HP.

On the diesel front, the entry-level xDrive20d model can be taken up to 220 HP from 190, the xDrive30d will reach 309 HP instead of 258 and the xDrive35d will be good for 360 HP, just like its petrol counterpart. All of them come with a two year warranty up to 100,000 km (62,000 miles).

Other improvements were done in the exhaust department, giving the cars a new sound and in the way they handle roads, with a new suspension.

Admirers of their cabin decorations will not be disappointed as they are included in the tuning kit, varying from aluminum pedals to new floor mats and gear knobs.
