If you think of a hybrid vehicle now, it’s impossible not to picture yourself a Toyota nameplate with what it sells today.
Since the introduction of the first Prius in 1997, Toyota expanded its research over hybrid powertrains, to further make them affordable, more efficient and integrated, in order to turn more customers towards driving clean.
Toyota offers now 23 hybrid vehicles (including seven Lexus models), which are already on sale in about 80 countries and regions around the world. This means that Toyota offers a choice of four times as many hybrid vehicles as any other manufacturer.
This can be seen at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, where the Japanese automaker brought its whole green artillery - from the classic Prius Liftback and its family to the TS030 Le Mans hybrid racecar and the Yaris Hybrid-R inspired by it, all can be seen in the videos bellow.
