McLaren chose Friday 17th August for the global unveiling of its new MP4-12C Spider, with the vehicle making its debut at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance.
The festivities were led by McLaren Automotive Managing Director Antony Sheriff at the Gooding Auction, where the 12C Spider made its debut in a new yellow finish that managed to turn all heads.
The 12C Spide not only looks stunning in this fresh color, but it also needed this ace up is sleeve in order to grab attention at Pebble Beach, since McLaren also used the event to unveil the X-1 one-off. You see, even though the X-1 might not suit everybody’s taste, its lines definitely draw quite a lot of attention, so the 12C Spider played the yellow wild card when it was displayed on the concept lawn on Sunday 19th August.
