Back in 2009, Bugatti showed for the first time its Galibier sedan as a concept at its headquarters in Molshiem. The car subsequently made its motor show debut in Frankfurt the same year, but since then the project has been slowed.
Current Bugatti owners complained about the design, and this is now undergoing radical change. As a result, the launch of the super-sedan has been pushed back to 2014 or 2015.

But in a recent interview with Car and Driver magazine, Bugatti’s Wolfgang Durheimer reassured that the project is currently being pursued "with high energy."

He also said that the Galibier sedan will have "over 1,000 horsepower" from its 8.0-liter W16 engine and that it will be "faster than anything on the market" with its top speed of 235 mph. The only problem we see is that both Ferrari and McLaren are working on new hypercars, which could challenge that speed.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
