McLaren sent out a convoy of MP4-12C supercars from their design center in the UK to the Southern coast of France, more specifically to Monaco, where all the rich playboys gather for the summer. The epic voyage took three days and covered 1,800 kilometers.
The five McLarens left Woking and crossed the UK, then got onto the Eurotunel to get to France. The convoy stopped by the old Reims race track where the company won a championship in 1962. In the Col Des Aravis, the five supercars encountered a bit of snow, but their dealt with the slippery conditions with ease.
“Covering four countries and some of the world's most varied conditions and roads, these journalists discovered just what makes the 12C one of the most exhilarating and versatile performance sports cars McLaren has ever produced,” McLaren said.
