While folks over in Europe have already managed to pull the first LaFerrari customer accident, a first world crash in Monte Carlo that saw the hypercar and a VW Golf 6 join fenders, the time has come for the hybrid hypercar to land on US soil. The first LaFerrari unit destined for North America was delivered last week, with the car doing what it knows best, hitting the track.
A special ceremony was held during the Ferrari Festival, an event that took place on Le Circuit Mont Tremblant. The Horse Pranced to the sound of its hybrid beats, gathering attention like a magnet. You can see it all happening in the clip below, which, obviously, comes with a majestic soundtrack.

Expect to see this sort of event happening again in the future, as Ferrari is currently working on the Spider incarnation of the LaFerrari. The info hasn’t been officially confirmed yet, but we’d sign a deal with a really good hairdresser if we were you, since the thrill of experiencing nearly 1,000 hp with the wind in your hair will be one hell of a guilty pleasure.

Ferrari hasn’t released an open-air range-topper ever since the F50 came around, but we’ll remind you that was never also offered as a coupe, only coming with a manually-removable roof.

The rumor mill also states Ferrari will only build 50 units of the LaFerrari Spider, so while it may have 963 horses, these won’t be easy to capture.
