Horacio Pagani has quite a lot on his head these days, with the expansion of the Huayra program being in the midst of development. While the Argentinian likes to roll his sleeves and/or put his computer glasses on to work on the project, he also takes time to perform other kinds of testing activities.
In a more or less intentional manner, Horacio recently gave the Huayra’s wow factor a reality check, driving it on the streets of Europe’s supercar capital, Monaco. Creations like the Huayra, which sit above the usual exotic population there, usually receive quite a lot of attention, but when Horacio was spotted behind the wheel, heads really started turning. Be it with a mobile phone a DSLR or other pieces of hardware, people started filming and shooting like crazy.

Horacio Pagani drove one of the Huayra factory cars though Monaco, which brings us back to the expansion topic from the intro. We’d like to remind you Pagani was recently spied testing the Huayra Nurburgring edition.

As confirmed by Pagani test driver Davide Testi, the Huayra is set to receive an even fiercer incarnation, which is expected to wear the designation of the infamous German track.

The test vehicle was not spotted on the ‘Ring though. Instead, the Pagani was hanging out in the proximity of AMG’s Affalterbach headquarters. The German engineers are currently working to give the twin-turbo V12 powerplant of the hypercar a power massage. The 6-liter unit currently delivers 700 hp and 737.5 lb-ft (1,000 Nm), so we should expect quite a storm.

Moreover, the test driver also confirmed that a Roadster incarnation of the Huayra is in the works. This was actually supposed to arrive in 2014, but we may have to wait until 2016 for the open-air experience.

While we do that, you can check out Horacio’s 1 mph Monaco driver in the clip below.
