This year’s SEMA Show will feature a 2014 Ford Mustang modified by the guys over at Vortech Superchargers, and the first photos of the musclecar kicked in ahead of the Las Vegas-based event.
Finished in a gorgeous DuPont yellow exterior paint, the Mustang was fitted with the company’s V-3 Si supercharger that enables the 5.0-liter V8 to deliver 605 horsepower and 473 lb-ft of torque.
Dubbed “Yellow Jacket”, the musclecar also features a 3dCarbon Boy Racer body kit, a TruFiber carbon fiber cowl induction hood, a Road & Track bix suspension package from Maximum Motorsport, Baer 6-piston brakes, a set of iForged 20-inch wheels, and Falken Azenis FK453 tires.
“As a lifelong Ford fan, I was inspired to create this project car when I realized Ford doesn’t offer yellow on the 2014 Mustang,” said Brian Ellis, sales, marketing and social media manager for AirPower Group. “We wanted to create something really eye-popping with a mechanical package to match the appearance.”
