Volvo C70 Successor Should Look Like This

The Volvo C70 has had a good run. Launched in 1997, reborn as we know it today in 2006, but it's got to go. The fact that the model is getting the axe in 2014 is pretty much a certainty, and with Volvo plugging all of its money into SUVs right now, we doubt a replacement is around the corner.
But when it does arrive, we really hope it will look something a bit like this rendering, created by the talented Theo Chin based on the Concept Coupe.

The reason we're getting excited about a Volvo that doesn't even exist is because of an engine. You see, while its German rivals have gotten complacent and still require six cylinders, Volvo's latest T6 engine makes over 300 hp from less: 2 liters of displacement.

With this sort of technology and killer looks, is it still hard to see yourself behind the wheel of a Volvo?

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
